Illinois Science Assessment
April 10 @ 7:30 am - April 28 @ 4:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 7:30 am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, repeating until April 26, 2019
The Illinois Science Assessment (ISA) is a state-mandated science assessment aligned to the Illinois Learning Standards for Science and incorporating the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), which were adopted in 2014. This assessment is administered online to students enrolled in grades 5, 8, and once in high school. The high school assessment is course-based and corresponds to the content of Biology I. Students who participate in the DLM-AA alternate assessment will be assessed in science in grades 5, 8 and 11. The ISA helps ensure that students are prepared for post-secondary education and future careers by focusing on critical thinking, analytic skills and technology – all key components of a high-quality science education.
