Sue Leuser
Senior Vice President
Sue Leuser has been a member of the Ombudsman team since 1999. She has held several management positions at Ombudsman, including director, regional manager and assistant director of center operations. In 2008, Sue was promoted to vice president of center operations, with responsibility for providing leadership, quality assurance, managerial and administrative support to all regions and centers. In 2020, Sue was promoted again to Senior Vice President.
Sue also leads the accreditation process for Ombudsman learning centers. She earned a bachelor’s degree in education from the Pennsylvania State University and holds a certificate as a school improvement specialist.
Dr. Richard Glass
Regional Vice President
Dr. Richard Glass is the Regional Vice President for the Chicago programs. Dr. Glass is an experienced school leader with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry. He is skilled in Lesson Planning, Educational Technology, Professional Learning Communities, Training, and Adult Education. Strong business development professional with a Master of Education focused in Special Education and Teaching from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
James Kendall
Director of Special Education
James Kendall, Coordinator of Compliance, is a proven educator with nearly 25 years of experience. He is committed to student growth, development, and academic excellence for all students. James has worked with students in grades K-12 and focuses on top academic performance and high standards of operation. James has demonstrated success in development of key support services and instructional programs focused on academic improvement, strategic reform and student achievement. James holds a Bachelor of Science in elementary Education with a minor in Reading from Ball State University, and a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Governors State University with certifications in Education, Administration and Reading Recovery.
